My mother was diagnosed with cancer and like many people, we were confused due to multiple opinions. But when I consulted Dr Reshma Puranik, she listened to us carefully and went through all reports and chalked out treatment plans for us, explained to me in clear and simple language. My father, age is 75 years was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has advised surgery but we were not keen on it due to his age. We consulted Dr Reshma Puranik as we were keen on medicines and wanted to avoid surgery. She advised chemotherapy and took care that my father tolerated it in spite of his age and heart problem. She counselled and reduced his fear for both surgery and chemotherapy. Because of her efforts, my father was ready for surgery and is on maintenance treatment under her care.
